You will be welcomed at the Strasbourg’s railway station or the Strasbourg’s airport around 11:00 AM. Our bus will be waiting to take you to the three-star hotel: Hôtel les Rives in Guebwiller, where you will spend the next 4 nights on a half- board basis (bed, breakfast, dinner).
Refined, contemporary design marks the hotel which opened in May 2008. It is located on the edge of a forest, facing a lake with view on Alsatian vineyards.
Strasbourg/Guebwiller: 63 miles
Guebwiller, a small town of character, is nested between forests and vineyards. The town is known for its wines and its architectural heritage.
If you wish, you will have the time, after having checked in at the hotel, to make any adjustment on your bikes and go for an easy ride.
After your ride, you will be able to refresh at the hotel before heading to its restaurant for the welcoming champagne cocktail and the dinner that will be served there.

Friday , July 17th: day 2
Tour de France stage : Contrex/Colmar
Group : Ride of the last 35 miles from the Stage of the Tour de France
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
This stage is advantageous for aggressive riders since the course is sinuous and includes 2nd and 3rd category passes.
After breakfast, you will leave the hotel as a group to get to the day’s route. You will ride the 35 last miles of the stage to the finish in Colmar, a route without any difficulty.
Through the ride you will be supported by a Ronan Pensec Travel accredited vehicle driven by the mechanic and 2 staff riders will accompany you as well.

We will provide you with an exclusive accreditation from Ronan Pensec Travel that will allow you to visit the compound and the TV and media broadcasting area. This is where you will meet former Tour de France champions who are now working for the TV (Paul Shewen, Bob Roll, Phill Liggett, Bernard Hinault…) and why not collect their autographs and take some pictures. This accreditation will also give you access to the private caterer of Ronan Pensec Travel in the technical zone where you will have lunch.
While standing just in front of the finish line, you will see the famous “caravane publicitaire” passing by before the riders of the Tour de France cross the finish line.
For the people who do not want to take their bike, a visit of a typical village of the region of Alsace is planned.

Shortly after the end of the stage, our bus will take you back to the hotel in Guebwiller (Colmar/Guebwiller 27 Km or 16 miles), where dinner will be served.
3 * Hôtel les Rives à Guebwiller
Saturday , July 18th: day 3
Tour de France stage : Colmar/Besançon
Group : Exclusive Access to the start village and the rider's enclosure
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
After breakfast, our bus will take you the short 16 miles distance to Colmar, where the start of the 14th stage of the Tour de France will take place.
There you will have special access to the start’s village where you will see the teams’ equipment and fleet, such as buses, motor homes, etc… and your favourite riders warming up.
This is also where you will get to meet the Tour de France riders and other cycling legends. During this time you will be in the heart of the TDF and enjoy the “behind the scenes” experience that is only reserved for, accredited visitors.

After seeing the start, 2 options will be available to you:
1. Cyclists: Return to the hotel following the superb "Route des
Vins".
2. Non cyclists: Visit the interesting town of Colmar then return
to the hotel by bus.
Colmar is famous for its exceptionally rich and varied historical and architectural heritage. The "old town" has been the object of a particularly careful restoration process over the past twenty years. The result is a homogenous historic centre successfully preserved from the effects of time.

Tonight, we will invite you to discover the culinary heights of the “Haute Cuisine” of regional and international cooking at the restaurant “Blanche-Neige”, Michelin 2*, (Snow White restaurant) in Labaroche.
The drive to the restaurant will be approximately 40 minutes long and our bus is scheduled to leave around 6:00PM. At the end of the dinner, you will be taken back to the hotel.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
After breakfast, we will leave the hotel as a group to start our discovery of the “Route des Vins Alsaciens” (Alsatian Wine Road).
Over the past 50 years, the Alsace Wine Route has contributed to the success of Alsace wines. It has become famous all over the world for the exceptional natural beauty of its scenery, for how easy it is to follow, and for the way it makes the visitor feel close to the region and its winegrowers.
The Alsace Wine Route winds its way from north to south, for more than 170 kilometers, along the eastern foothills of the Vosges. This delightful itinerary runs across a succession of undulating hills, through pretty villages with narrow streets of flower-decked, half-timbered houses, clustered around their church steeple.
In the afternoon, some wine tasting and a visit of wine cellars will be part of the program.
In the evening, you will have dinner at the hotel’s restaurant.
