A bus will take you to the 3* hotel L'ESPLAN at Saint Paul Trois Ch�teaux, where you will spend your next 3 nights.
You
will be staying at the hotel where Lance Armstrong used to stay while
he was training in the area or racing on the Dauphin� Lib�r�.
Bus transfer: 176 km, 109 miles (1 hour 45 min).
If you wish, you will have the time to make any adjustment on your bike and go for an easy ride.

Sunday, July 19th : day 2

After
breakfast, you will have the time to make any final adjustment on your
bike and go from your hotel for an easy ride in the morning to see the
first miles of the Etape du Tour.
In the afternoon, you will be
free to visit the Etape du Tour village with its bicycle exhibition,
where all the major European makes will be present. This is also where
you will sign for and collect your race number.

Monday, July 20th : day 3

Group: D-day, the Etape du Tour
This
will be your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live up to the same
challenge as the pros (a few days later), by doing a mountain stage of
the 2009 Tour de France.
You will be able to see how your total time on that stage compares to that of the top pros.
There
will be 8,500 participants, and the roads will be closed to regular
traffic. There will be several feeding zones along the course, and
technical assistance will be offered by MAVIC.
After breakfast, you will leave the hotel by bus and ride the short distance from the hotel to the start (19 km, 12 miles).
At
arrival, there will be a meeting point where you will be able to take a
shower and put on fresh clothes. Some snacks and drinks (fruits, energy
bar, and drinks) will be served. After that, a coach will take you back
to your hotel. 47 Km, 29 miles, 50 minutes)
