In 2* and 3* hotels close to departure and arrival locations
2 nights in Pau in a 2* hotel and 1 night in Bagnères-de-Bigorre in a 3* hotel on a half-board basis (dinner - wine and water included ; bed and breakfast).
You will be one of the privileged riders who will be provided with accommodation near both the start and the arrival. Your first hotel is located close to the starting line, which makes it very convenient to ride to the start on the morning of July 18. After the race, you will be lodged in another hotel close to the finishing line, which will avoid you a bus transfer to go back to your hotel. You will not have to worry about your personal belongings as our staff will take care of their transfer to the second hotel.
This package is particularly aimed at those driving their own car and at those who want to have the least amount of bus transfers.

Please make sure to book your bike onto the flight and to book early in order to secure your seat and get the best fares.
Your guides will meet you at the airport and a bus will take you to your hotel.
There will be 3 coach transfer times from Pau to your hotel: 10.00am, 12.00 pm, 5.00 pm.
2 coach transfer times will be operated from Biarritz airport into your hotel: 11.30 am, 5.00 pm.
Would you prefer drive, you are free to join the group directly at the hotel.
Etape du tour: Friday, July 16th - day one

Meeting at Pau or Biarritz airport
Bus transfer:
Pau airport: 10 km, 6,2 miles (10 min).
Biarritz airport: 119 Km, 74 miles (1H15 )
You will be welcomed at the 2* hotel in Pau where you will spend the next 2 nights on a half-board basis. This hotel offers a free wifi access and is located just beside the start of the Etape du Tour, which will be a great advantage for you on the race’s day
You will be free to make any final adjustment on your bike or relax at the hotel.
On the evening, you will have your first dinner with the group and enjoy local wines and traditional dishes.

Etape du tour: Saturday, July 17th - day two

You will start the day with a plentiful French breakfast that will fuel you up for this last preparation day
You can go for an easy ride to see the first miles of the Etape du Tour and get your legs primed for the ultimate riding.
In the afternoon, you will be free to visit the Etape du Tour village with its bicycle exhibition, where all the major European manufacturers will be present. This is also where you will sign for and pick up your race number.
Afterwards you will relax over a dinner especially prepared to give you all the energy that you will need for the upcoming challenge.
For those of you who are driving their own car, you will have to drive your car this morning towards the hotel in Bagnères de Bigorre. Those willing to ride back are free to do so (55 km), for the others our bus will be available to bring them back to Pau.

Etape du tour: Sunday, July 18th - day three

Today is the day! This is your opportunity to live up to the same challenge as the professionals, by riding a mountain stage of the 2010 Tour de France.
The race’s start time is 7.00am. So after an early breakfast you will be able to ride the short distance into the start and take place amongst the thousands of other competitors from all over the globe who will compete in this cycling's great event...
This morning, shortly after you have started, our staff will stop at your hotel to pick up your luggage in order to bring it to your hotel in Bagnères de Bigorre.
The ideal location of this hotel – just beside the arrival of the race at the foot of Tourmalet – will enable you to ride directly to the hotel after the race.
You will be welcomed at the 3* hotel Le Relais des Pyrénées – Centre Laurent Fignon –.with a replenishing choice of drinks and snacks.
As one can guess this hotel is owned by Laurent Fignon, winner of two Tour de France.There you will find a warm welcome and high quality service – with spa, hammam, flat-screen TV and wifi access.
You will be able to relax and soak your aches and pains away before gathering with the group and to celebrate your glorious ride around a special dinner.

Etape du tour: Monday, July 19th - day four

You will enjoy this morning's breakfast will a great sense of accomplishment and the willingness to do it again next year. This will be your last opportunity to congratulate your fellow cyclists again over, before you take the coach that will drive you to the airport.
You’ll leave the hotel by bus at 8:00 am to reach Pau or Biarritz airport. where you’ll board your flight back.

This year’s Tour de France route has been designed to set the Etape du Tour close to the pro race, which enters the Pyreneans at the end of this Etape du Tour program. This is your opportunity to make your Tour de France experience longer and live the inside of the pro race.
We have designed a variety of programs that start on July 19 (end date of the Etape du Tour program) and cover the crucial Pyreneans stages, the final time trial and the arrival on the cobblestones of the Champs-Elysees in Paris.
Our status as an official Tour Operator allows us to offer the most exciting week of the Tour de France.

- Etape du Tour 4 days / 3 nights with 2* Hotel in Pau and 3* Hotel in Bagneres-de-Bigorre (Room sharing in twin or double): 770 euros
- Etape du Tour 4 days / 3 nights with 2* Hotel in Pau and 3* Hotel in Bagneres-de-Bigorre (Single room): 850 euros
- Non competitor: 600 euros
For those who are not competing: On the day of the Etape, our staff will stop at your hotel to pick up you and bring you to the start so you can cheer up on the riders. Then we will meet you again at a given location and will take you by bus to a section of the course from where you will be able to watch the competitors passing by and enjoy a picnic. Afterwards, we will all go to our private arrival zone at the bottom of the Tourmalet where you will be in time to welcome and congratulate your spouse/friend/relative…
In order to secure your package, a deposit of 480 Euros will be required at time of the registration, the balance will then be due between May 15th to 31st, 2010. (In case of cancellation by the participant, the Etape du Tour entry of 180 euros is non refundable and non exchangeable)
THE PRICE INCLUDES:
- Entry to the Etape du Tour.
- Accommodation for 2 nights in two-star hotels and 1 night in three-star hotel: rooms with private bathroom including toilets, and a tub and / or a shower.
- 3 Breakfasts, and 3 dinners, drinks (wine and water) included.
- Access into a private space with shower, pasta party, fruits and drink after the Etape du Tour on Sunday18.
- Transfer from Pau or Biarritz airport to your hotel on the first day, transfer back to your hotel after the Etape du Tour on day 3 and transfer from you hotel to Pau or Biarritz on the last day in a private coach.

In December, we will email you the official application form as well as guidelines on how to fill it out. Each participant to the Etape du Tour is required to provide a medical certificate from his/her physician stating that he/she is in good physical condition and he/she can take part in a cycling competition. We will need to receive this application form/medical certificate no later than January 31st, 2010.
